OUR MINISTRIES
7:10 foundation has a variety of ministries primarily focusing on our Widowage, Growth and education, Medical emergencies in La Digue.
Our foundation's primary origin is based on Zechariah 7:10 "And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart."
Prayer
It is only through our faith in Jesus Christ that we are able to do what we do. We know and have witnessed what the power of prayer can do! Our ministries would not be affective without it, and therefore it is a ministry within itself. We are committed to praying for all areas of our ministry and would be elated to have you commit to that also.
Widowage
Our widowage is a safe secure and God centered place for our widows to live, serve, fellowship, and grow. Our vision is 10 homes, 2 bath houses, and a fellowship hall. This is a place to learn a trade to enable our widows to be self sustaining, all while living for the Lord.
Sponsorship Program
When you sponsor a child through 7:10 Foundation, you are partnering with that child, the child’s family, and the whole community! Through consistent monthly support, letters, and prayers you and your child build a relationship that makes a forever difference.
Youth
It is our prayer that every child that we meet will see and know the light of Christ. Through teams that visit and do classes, our own hands on teaching, counseling and support for the parents, and the sponsorship program we are committed to help children of Haiti as we can.
Education
This falls into two categories, standard institutional education and also spiritual education. We all know how imperative it is to have an education. Learning to read and write, add and subtract.... but also learning about the Lord. We are also committed to vocational training and college where we can for adults.
Medical Services
The needs are never ending. And the medical system in Haiti is less than desirable. 7:10 Foundation has been able to help a child with eye cancer, severely malnourished children, and various other diseases and ailments, all through faithful donors like you. The best part of our medical ministry is after you are healthy? You will still be seeing plenty of 7:10 with follow up services from our pastoral lead Jean Phillipe!
